When I was "baptised", I was told that they couldn't help me unless I got "baptised". Was never accepted into any social circles, such as role-playing, except by pioneer-types whose native language is NOT English. I just realised, unfortunately, that all in the JC have English as their native language. They discount the Asperger's, and just figure I'm unrepentant.
The meetings with the JCs were always hard for me to figure out, but I'm just making sense of things as I see my words in print here.

Like I said, I consider myself socially dysfunctional. Asperger's does NOT help.
The announcement was made that I am "NOT one of JWs". I prefer to deal with ideas, generically and Scripturally, rather than my specifics, unless trust is developed.

the claim of any substantive change in the policy on pedophiles is news to me.
can anybody verify or falsify this claim?.

Truly every congregation is a "work in progress", but if all we each focus on is OUR individual perspectives and experiences so far regarding the "two witness principle" and not be willing to accept JEHOVAH's perspective (after all, his thoughts are much higher than ours, according to Isaiah 55:8-9) how can we each EVER be reconciled? JW meetings are mandatory in showing that we are in agreement with Jehovah and Jesus Christ, even if we don't understand their ways or what they allow at any particular time, or even if we find ourselves unable to practice all of what we know to live by. Surely each of us who attend is able to LEARN to have a voice, which is why many congregations have many young ones who comment, even often.

My "JW baptism" was apparently annulled. But, scripturally, what does THAT have to do with anything? What is "correction" unless the thinking and behaviour are "corrected"? How can this happen it there has been a whole life of dysfunctional socialisation? Aren't elders to be models of the humility and righteousness they talk about? How can someone with virtually no trust receive the needed adjustments one-on-one? It's too confusing trying to address 3 unless it's all down in writing for me to follow.

the "wise instruction" (as described by the society) given is that sisters now have to wear head coverings when interpreting sign language public talks.. differs from the previous instructions that sisters didn't need to do so.. .

I'm home the whole time. I believe the Biblical trinity, found at John 17:11. Which is what JWs believe, only they don't call it "the Biblical trinity".
